E. Ellis Rollins-Like his Dad, Ellis has a deep vested interest in Cecil County and the State of Maryland, having lived here his entire life. In fact, you can draw great parallels in the paths of this family law practice. As a graduate of the Bohemia Manor School District in 1998, he has had ties to the community through sports, academics and community service for 28 years. In 1998 he left Cecil County to pursue a College Degree at Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland. During his time at WMC, Ellis began working for the Baltimore Ravens in their marketing department. After graduating from WMC in 2002 with a degree in Communication and Business, Ellis took a year off to work for the Ravens Marketing Department, before deciding that his passion was to follow in the footsteps of his family, which were large shoes to fill. On his father's side of the family, his great-grandfather and grandfather were practicing attorney's in Cecil County who eventually went on to serve as Chief Judges in the Circuit Court for Cecil County. Not to be outdone, his father is the Senior Partner in the Rollins Law Group, having practiced for over 28 years. On his mother's side, his grandfather and two uncles are and were practicing attorneys, and his mother has a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. Ellis graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2006 and became a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association later that year. In the interim, Ellis worked for the Harford County State's Attorney's Office as a Rule 16 practicing attorney and then as a law clerk to the Chief Administrative Judge for Cecil County Maryland, the Honorable Richard Eli Jackson. In July 2007, Ellis joined the Rollins Law Group where he is now a Junior Partner. In 2007, Rollins Law Group, received the award for Best Law Firm in Cecil County, as voted on by the public.
