The Rollins Law Group is a family owned business that has been operating for more than 60 years. Currently, our father-son legal team handles criminal defense, divorce cases, personal injury lawsuits and real estate transactions throughout Cecil County.
A Brief History
Our family operated law practice began in 1927 with Edward D. E. Rollins Sr., who was state's attorney for Cecil County for 16 years, state attorney general for two years, and circuit court judge for 13 years. In 1955, Mr. Rollins, Sr. was joined in the practice of law by his son, Edward D. E. Rollins Jr. Mr. Rollins Jr. was a member of Maryland's Constitutional Convention Commission in 1967-68, and he was a circuit court judge from 1983 to 2002, when he retired.
Mr. Rollins Jr. was joined in the practice of law by his son — Edward D. E. Rollins III — in 1980. Mr. Rollins III, who goes by the name of Ellis, is the current senior partner of Rollins Law Group. The junior partners are his sons, E. Ellis Rollins and C. Evan Rollins.
